What You Will Do:
The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive patient care to patients under the direction of a
supervising physician, managing the complex care of the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patient.
This includes admission, monitoring and reporting on patient progress and discharge planning and followthrough.
What You Need to Be Successful:
* 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Midwifery (Required)
* High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Master's Degree (Preferred)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
*BLS Certification (Required)
*Certified Nurse Midwife (Required)
*Maryland CDS license (Required)
*Maryland State DEA license (Required)
*Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Required)
*Registered Nurse Certified (Required)
Experience and Skills
*2 - 4 years Midwifery experience (Preferred)
0 - 1 year Ability to scrub as a first assistant on Cesarean sections (Preferred)
0 - 1 year Proven skills in third trimester ultrasound (Preferred)
Required Skills: Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Basic Computer Skills,
Strong Customer Services Skills, Proven Analytical Skills
